Get Involved

Volunteer
ETMHD rescue is made up of volunteers who want to make a big difference in the lives of these little equines.
Volunteers help with many aspects of the rescue:

-
Assisting in a rescue or transport
-
Help with maintenance and cleaning
-
Conducting site visits
-
Socializing and/or training the minis
-
Help with vet and farrier visits

Volunteers aged 14 to 17 must have a parent or guardian who is also a volunteer and will be the assistant to the adult volunteer and not work independantly.

Foster
Fosters help us to save the lives of minis by:

-
Housing and caring for rescues that are available for adoptions
-
Training rescues to ensure they head off to their forever homes as respectful equine
-
Socializing rescues to get them ready for their forever homes
-
Providing safe havens for rescues in rehabilitation
-
Opening up more room at our main site for more minis in need of rescue

Fosters must be willing to allow potential adopters to visit or be willing to transport to the rescue in Loudon for meet and greets.
